Dev log #1; Sep 18


Hello Everyone!

We’re excited to share the beginning of our journey with Reaper, a 3D puzzle-platformer where you explore each level twice. On your second run, you'll face a deformed scene but with new skills at your disposal!

While the game is still in early stages, we’re making rapid progress. Since the initial version, we’ve already:

  • Switched from a third-person to a first-person camera
  • Improved movement to be smoother and more natural
  • Revamped the wall jump mechanic
  • And more!

Next Steps:

  • Enhance the game's atmosphere with a skybox
  • Integrate additional music, art, and animations
  • UI Changes
  • Explore adding new mechanics and levels

We have already learned a lot in the past week as we explored different movement mechanisms, how to integrate different teams' works, and version control!
